'I Am Second' needed a high impact intro that would wake people up and start their "Live Second" courses off with a bang. There wasn't too much existing design to work with, other than a background pattern they had established with torn, overlapping pages.

Listening to the client, they really loved the this torn paper aesthetic, with it's allusion to the written word and the notion of "tearing the book up" (not THAT book, calm down keyboard warriors) as a metaphor for doing things differently. I lent into that with styleframes that leant into a handcrafted, collage aesthetic. Ripped paper and paint streaks barrel us through the edit, whilst bold typography animation lays out the foundation of the courses' mission.
